Yasin Kurtulus was born in 1990 in Karadeniz Ereğli. He is from Rize. He is married and has two children. He lives in Istanbul.

He entered foreign trade at sixteen. He trained in the field across import, export, customs, logistics, supply chain, and operations. Over those years he learned the sector’s real problems inside the work, not at a desk.

He completed an associate degree in foreign trade at Anadolu University, then a bachelor’s in International Relations. He now combines more than twenty years of that experience with technology and artificial intelligence, working toward global trade that is smarter, more connected, and more manageable.

He is the founder of MAYKA. The legal entity is MAYKA GLOBAL DIŞ TİCARET TEKNOLOJİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ. He is a founding partner of MIYA Customs Brokerage. MIYA is a separate structure.

His primary technology project is MAYTRAS: foreign-trade intelligence and artificial intelligence. MAYKOPS names the operations layer; MAIOS names the AI operating layer of MAYTRAS.
